
FOUNDER'S LETTER
A Creative Genesis.
I’m Leigh Howell, founder of STUDIO LEI. Born from a creative genesis—a moment where I realised the power of design to shape experiences and tell stories that transcend the ordinary. It’s here that I began to truly craft visuals that go beyond aesthetics and leave a lasting impact.
Studying at United World College shaped my multidimensional approach to design, reinforcing that it’s not just about what you see, but what you feel and remember. At Polimoda, I honed my ability to blend creative storytelling with strategic brand positioning, learning that design is about shaping narratives, not just trends.​​

At Collide, I played a key role in shaping ANUM A—developing its brand identity, house style, logo, monogram, and overall visual storytelling. I also created its brand book and website's landing page, ensuring a cohesive and distinctive presence. Alongside this, I contributed heavily to projects for Madiha, STUDIO NK, and T FOR ALL. For Madiha, I helped refine and design newsletters while also developing the website.
For T FOR ALL, ​​​​I designed the brand book, house style, and press release, shaping its identity and communication.
For STUDIO NK, I designed and developed the website, transforming its online presence. The impact of this work was highlighted by the Founder, Neslihan Kiyak, who said, "The STUDIO NK website has never looked so good until they got involved."

Throughout these projects, my approach was always about translating a brand’s essence into a cohesive, lasting ​presence. My work on ANUM A was particularly recognised for its impact, with the Founder noting how the brand book “captured my identity perfectly, providing a roadmap for everything from my brand’s tone and visuals to its unique positioning in the market.”

At Victor Hart, I refined brand communication and design, while my independent work on Levi Marcus allowed me to shape its visual identity through editorials and campaigns.

Beyond fashion, I’ve expanded my creative perspective through projects spanning hospitality, music, and beyond.
STUDIO LEI was born from the need to create something distinct—a space where visuals become lasting experiences. Based in Livorno, Italy, but with roots in Trinidad, we’re driven to push boundaries and connect with audiences worldwide. This is just the beginning.
